when i was working in tst me and my mate used to hang-out here for happy hour drinks. we never got served up any chin-chin (?!!) but the filipino singer was pretty good (at singing...)
i heard "chin-chin" means "kanpai" in italian. any meaning in chinese?

Yea I heard it means kanpai in italian too but that's not the first definition that popped in my mind w.
請is pronounced CHIN in putonghua (TSENG in canto). There's alternate meanings to this (so as in Japanese) so I'm not sure about the 'real intentions' but,
