LBJ :: MVP

The 2008-2009 Season is rounding off and things are heating up in the Playoffs (Rockets 100 - 92 Lakers). As the Lakers climb the Great Wall of China falling hard on their asses LeBron James, 24, was crowned MVP of the year, becoming the youngest player to win the award since Moses Malone in 1978-79. I'm not posting this to try to tell everyone what's happening (it's global news), but to rather share what I think this symbolizes in the coming years.

Kobe Bryant has been praised the best player on the planet with his dominations on court and don't get me wrong, I don't disagree. Aside from being a ball hog he's a very balanced player, a very high end balanced player. Which means he's quite unstoppable. But as he enters his 13th season this year the slope is starting to turn. Not saying he's wearing out physically but the time IS coming. Something from down under is pulling the curve down. LeBrons MVP award is just a symbol of the beginning.

Only 24, LeBron is already on top of the charts in everything, averaging almost a triple-double in stats. He's unstoppable when he drives. His defense is improving by the year and is 2nd place this season just behind Dwight Howard for Defensive Player of the Year. Scoring 50 along with 10 assists is not what an average player can do, not to mention Mo Williams and Delonte West is already a good guard. He's the pivot of the Cavs system. The only flaw left in LeBron is his mid-range shots, which is improving by the day and he's got plenty of time to improve. Once he gets the hang of it, everyone might as well just pack up and leave. And again, he's 24. This kid's got 10 more years up ahead of him to break records at his peak and another 5 years to do it when he steps into Kobe's path of aging. Taking his average team to the playoffs with the best record in the league, LeBron won the MVP award by a mile, and well deserved.

When he gets his shots right, he will be unstoppable. For another 10 years.
Imagine a lion growing a pair of wings.

We're all dead.

Now what's left is Kobe vs LeBron in the finals. The one match everyone is desperate to watch before Kobe's time is over. Lakers is a much better team but LeBron might be able to do something about it, and when he does, it's the beginning of the next generation.

Aight, it was a decent read until your below the belt comment about Kobe being Gay at the bottom.

Kobe = God

actually, Kobe > God

If Kobe played on the CAVS, the CAVS would still go the finals, and if LeBrick played on the Lakers, the Lakers will go to the finals.

I'm gonna suck it up and admit that LeBron has improved drastically from Last season, and if his skill curve is this arched, I'm scared.

24year old Kobe > 24 year old Lebron.

30year old Kobe > 24 year old Lebron.

31year old Kobe = 25 year old LeBron

32 year old Kobe < 26 year old Lebron.

LeBron will not dethrone Kobe. Age will.

Let me know a season when LeBrick averages 36pts a game like Kobe did 3 years ago. Oh yeah, he can't shoot so that's almost impossible.

PS - We're gonna pound ya'll in the finals. We already knocked down the great wall of china, and you guys got lucky because we've never seen any film about Aaron Brooks and didn't even know who he was and we left him open too much.

ROFL

Aight let me get your teeth straight here.

1. Kobe IS GAY. I've posted enough photos that prove it.

2. I agree with either one being in CAVS or LAL will = finals. But reality now is Kobe is on a elite team and LeBri...LeBron is on a avg team.

3. I agree LeBron will surpass Kobe as he ages and I wrote that down really clear. Scroll up a few circles.

4. 36pts a game. But under average assists and rebounds. And I also mentioned he's a ball hog right.

5. I'm scared too

PS - You guys (KOBE) knocked down Yao's knee (and it was dirty) but little Aaron Brooks showed you big didn't he. I was surprised too though. Aaron Brooks! LOL
